Counting Down

I was invited into a writing group tonight after class. Still not sure how I feel about it.
I have not really felt apart, nor have I trusted people enough to read my stuff. I do it all the time for class, but to bring work that is done without assignment scares the shit out of me. That means it comes from the heart, straight out of my thoughts and feelings. Kind of like this. We will see. There are a few I would be interested in getting with. But we will see.
So, Chris should be here shortly so I can take my nap before the flight. There will probably be no updates until next week as I am going to be in Colorado. I promise lots of pictures when I get back. Maybe they will actually be good this time!

Chris – We all know how much they love you. I think you are the only one to get tackled when you come in the door.
David – when I read that I almost fell out of my chair in shock. It’s nice to know that you shared in the love. And I am glad you got the envelope.
Once we get settled (and I get some sleep) we will set up some well needed porch time for both of you…

As for me, it was nice to see all three of the kids again.
I am very much looking forward to seeing you both (Erica and David) as soon as you get back. But you should know in the meantime, when I came over tonight I allowed both Puck and Pip to lick me wildly in the face as I sat on the floor and said my hellos. It was very cute and so were they, hence my approval of that normally unallowable incident. Valentine is his normal unsociable self, but still made some time to say hello to me, his favourite non-McEachern/Garcia person.
In any event, I hope the two of you are having an absolutely fabulous time and I will see you both when you return.

Even tho i know you wont get this untill you get back, but i can tell you that the kids miss you both and they send their love. but i am loving them and kissing them for you both.
