Moody Meow

We are going to restart a tradition initially brought into being with the Firefly series. D and I are both fans (some would call me rabid) of the series, and the 2ndish season came out on DVD. The 2nd half of the 2nd season begins in a few weeks, and we all need to catch up. So I figured we could do like we did before (although, if you want to watch the miniseries, I will let you borrow it, cause that’s 4 fucking hours long!) and begin with the first episode of the series and go from there. I am more than willing to rewatch Starbuck in all her ass-kicking glory over and over again, but you knew that.

I want to start it after the passing of the New Year. Let me know what you think.

Had coffee time with the girls yesterday. There’s a crack in the crevice that was quite apparent when the conversation stalled over the table. That could be my paranoia, but who knows. It was enjoyable none the less.
Cat liked my profane hand signals air-freshner (a fantabulous gift from Vanya — so damn fitting) and we headed home to wait for Brian.

I didn’t manage to run last night. Instead I hauled ass to the little courthouse on Lancaster to pay the extension fee for my ticket. It took me over an hour. I was kind of pissed, but I should have known it would not be a speedy process. Ate dinner and went to bed damn early.

I know I snored last night, which left me feeling really tired this morning. I know this because my throat hurts and David woke me up by punching me in the arm at least once. This lack of sleep thing is getting old.

So, when I get out of work today (around 3:30 rather than 2:30) I will go running and figure something out for dinner. I really wish I got some time off this week, but that’s just not going to happen. Oh well….back to the slave work.
