I watched a daughter from afar.
Celebrated her birthday with candles in my heart, not on a cake.
She turned 12 yesterday.
I turn 30 this year.
The relationship seems to be just beginning.
I resolve to write her letters once a month.
I think she needs that.
I think I need it more than she does.

Wow. I think thats a fantastic idea. i’m sure as she grows up she will want to know more about her birth mother and reach even more. I think this is amazingly exciting…but I’m also nosey as hell and love to hear about other peoples lives
