The Rest of the Story - Sorta
Did I forget to mention? June 20th, 2004
I am avoiding homework, so I thought I would kill time and relay the rest of the story.
Where was I? Oh yeah. Fucking cold and spaghetti straps.
So, Erica the Tomboy got her nails done (just a manicure people - don’t get hystercial!) and then all of us went to lunch. I felt bad for David, who was secluded at the Inn, so I bought him some southwestern eggrolls and walked them back to our room.
Quickly - we dressed. Alexis looked amazing. Then again the bitch is a size 2, so she would look stunning in a paper bag. I helped her dress after I threw on my own dress (which Mom fixed - thank god - cause my boobies hanging out during my sister’s wedding would have been a bad idea - but the dress came out nice) and as I laced up the corset top, she told me to make it tighter. I felt kind of bad for her. The poor girl’s boobs were killing her because she is about one month pregnant, but we got it tight and she looked amazing. One itty bitty bad thing was that when they (the bridal dumbasses) shipped her skirt, they forgot the underskirt so it wasn’t as poofy as it was supposed to be. I re-curled Alexis’s hair and I think we shared a loving moment as she screamed at me about stepping on her trian while I screamed at her for moving her head while I was trying to curl her hair. All were amused.
We pop outside to take pictures and we notice, much to our horror a huge storm rolling down the mountain - straight at the wedding. We did manage to get some shots near the water fountain my parents built, but it was a mad dash to the chapel, all four wedding girls trying to keep Alexis’s train from getting muddied. The best part of all of this is the chapel was tiny. We had to wait outside prior to walking down the isle. It started raining. I think Alexis freaked a little as her veil floated about her teary face. But we all made it down the isle, and I admit, I started crying when my little brother escorted me. The ceremony was beautiful and as soon as it was over - POOF! No more rain. But it was damn cold.
So we got the pictures done. Yay. Then off to the reception. I had a blast. I think everyone did. And I drank too much. (big shocker) and stayed in the hot tub till almost 5 in the morning talking trash with Gregg’s friends.
Next morning. Everyone says goodbye. Alexis’s new in-laws drive us to the airport. Then hell began.
I wasn’t feeling well. Green. I was feeling quite pea green. So I bought some overpriced Pepto and prayed for the best. We ate Burger King (bad idea) and then went to the plane.
And the rest of the story later - I really need to get my homework done.
