And The Saga Continues

Well, yeah. I should have researched VW’s. Did you know that Jettas (according to the transmission placed I just talked to) are the only cars on the market where they will not rebuild the transmission? Interesting.
We had decided to fix Bert last night and then limp along for a couple of years till I graduated. But this whole “no rebuild” kind of throws a damper on things. I would have been satisfied to fix the bastard, but he pulled a whammy on me and he’s toast.
I found the car I want. I am trying to creatively finance the thing. Hell. I don’t even know if I can be approved for the loan! But I am trying to be cheerful about the whole thing and I pray that something will go right with this.
On a happy note everything else is going fine. I am feeling the frantic pace of summer school and I realize that I miss the leisurely pace of the regular year. Oh well.
And we went to a booby-bar on Saturday. It was very disappointing. I need a new place to see nekkid ladies. Any suggestions?

There’s a place in Texas where you can have some monster steaks served up by gorgeous naked women. It’s one of Marilyn Manson’s all time favorite places.
