Damn Chilly I tell you !

What happened this morning?? Did someone wake up winter and tell her to head to Florida. It’s not that I mind. I really love this weather. We spent the morning trying to figure out what we wanted to do. I woke up sore. My abs feel like I did too many situps and laughing hurt. We laughed a lot today, because what else do you do when you’ve had a weekend filled with potential that fell short of expectations? You go to sushi. It’s the obvious solution.

Vanya came over and gifted me with the coolest flash-cards for our art class. We also discussed our papers (I found a Danae painting I want to work on) and she let me see this crazy book with medical photos from early America. It was alternatly gross and facinating. So we managed to get a lot of nothing done, but we had a good time.

David and I did our taxes this weekend. That was nice. It’s good to get money back that you need. More dollars for the move.

So, without two cars, David and I are trying to shuffle our schedules around so we both can get to work. I am going to go in late tomorrow so that I can get D to work. Then I will work through most of the day, and then grab D and head home before class.

We will find out tomorrow what’s up with Vader, whether or not he’s going to get repaired and what we are going to do. So here are some observations from the past few days:

*I apparently look like a thief because I was accused of stealing from the Collesium of Comics. What did I “steal”? A frickin keychain.
*Puck wags his tail in his sleep. Does he dream of us?
*My true friends are fucking amazing.
*When you order “whitefish katsu with no whitefish” - they give you whitefish anyway.
*Biking reallly makes things all better.
*Procrastination is a bitch.
*The birds really like to shit on my car
*I am going to learn to make sushi if it kills me
*Being a veggie really makes me feel lighter
*I get giggle fits when I’m drunk
* You should pay attention to the sky when you are at the dog park. When it looks like it’s going to rain, well, it probably will.
*My mother turns 50 next month. I turn 30 this summer. I graduate with my BA in December. It’s a big year for my family.

And on that note, I really need to go to bed now. Sweet dreams little world.

I had a little convo with Mother Nature about gracing you with some real winter weather…I felt it was the least I could do after your ordeal yesterday…

I tell you what…you work on the sushi thing and then we will have a “sushi roll-off” (think chili cook-off only not) the next time we come down…mmmmmm, sushi

Your giggle fits are hysterical…the best part is when you snort!

Procrastination and I got along very well this weekend…I did everything else but write the one paper I have due on Tuesday…this is what happens when B buys me the directors cut of Aeon Flux (the animated series not the crappy movie)

I hope you have lovely dreams!

have you seen the cheesy previews for “ultraviolet?”
well… the weather is a bit of a damper on my spirits, considering my house has absolutely no “real” heating device downstairs. so it is effectively 52 degrees in my living room and 75 in my bedroom. Cause the central unit really only works the heat upsatirs… so Im in shorts and t shirt unless I have to make some food or something. which I am trying to avoid. I am trying to talk B into take out tonight… cause its cold. Been in labor two days and still no baby… I hate this!
I miss you guys… I miss having something (school) that is mine, that affords me the opportunity to escape from my life, even for a little while. enough with my rant.
E - where is my mail???? we need communicate!

oops I meant to add… at least you and D will see more of each other cause of the 1 car thing.

Yoda sends his regards to Vadar and wishes him a speedy recovery.

At least, as much as a Jedi Master can to a disgraced Sith lord.

It’s the thought that counts :P

On a lighter note, it’s 22 degrees without the wind chill here in Chicago so shut your face about winter. I’m working on getting a nice place for you and D to crash at when you come vists (as well as Cat and Brian to crash at for drunken Guitar Hero debauchery) and getting taxes back is awesome.

I don’t know what that feels likem but I’m sure it’s awesome :P

Hollie - I was a little busy this weekend trying to get our shit together post-accident, so I didn’t e-mail you. Go ahead and go with the other designer as D’s time is severly limited now (as compared to when he was on break) and won’t have the time to work on your logo.

Tali - I’m sorry it’s so cold, love. And remember, I want nice cotton sheets when I visit. And don’t forget to draw the bath for me every morning.

  6. Frankie Says:

If you are not careful you will awaken the sleeping sushi monster and he will gobble you all up at the sushi cook off. BWAHAAHAHAH I am the master of all rice…tremble in fear at my Tamago

  7. Meow Says:

ROFL… I think you and Vanya will battle for that title. She’s going to teach me how to make sushi this weekend. I was disappointed by Seito and their quality of veggie stuff.

  8. Cat Says:

No fair…you get a sushi teacher…I have a sushi rolling kit and some pictures…not even a slap on the ass to get me started…I guess I could recruit my hubby for that…wait, what we was I talking about?

  9. Meow Says:

ROFL.. I would totally slap you on the ass…but although I like to pretend that I am a super-hero, my arms will not stretch that far. I will add that to my list of things to do when I see you next. Meanwhile, I will recruit Tali for some ass-slapping madness since I cannot oblige.

the good thing is that I can bring my sushi knowlege up to you come July!! :)
