Camino 2.0

So I installed Camino as my default browser for my laptop and I must say – it’s faster than both Safari and Firefox and not nearly as buggy as the Beta version. So I’ve set it as my default and I am going to give it a run-through.

But, so far, so good. If you have a Mac – try it out!

    If you are a little tech saavy, or just adventurous, type about:config in the address bar. A list of settings will appear. Scroll down to network.http.pipelining and set it to true, then set the entry right below it, network.http.pipeling.maxrequests to something higher. I find 8 works good for me. This really speeds up your browser speed, though I think it really is only useful if you have a broadband connection. Dial up may not get much from this. Note: it also works for Firefox users on the PC or Mac. :)
