Plans, plans, plans.

The lack of sleep and exercise is taking a toll on my sanity again. I suffered through another sleepless night, although D and I did manage to catch a nap in the late afternoon. So, I am trying to muddle through yet another day on negative rest.
You should see the bags under my eyes. They are impressive.
On a happy note – It’s FRIDAY! Woo hoo.
I hoped to ride today, but it’s looking like a lot of rain. And I’ve let go of the frustrations from yesterday, the rage and the need to flee. I think that I will be fine as long as I am left alone for the day. Yeah, that’s the ticket. The one person I like to talk to here (who actually works in my building) is out until Monday. So, I will listen/watch my podcasts and act like the keyboard monkey I am. And I enjoyed my Eggo Waffles this morning. Sometimes you just need breakfast.
So, plans? Tonight – I plan on sleeping, going to the library, and watching Battlestar (last week’s episode kicked ass!). Perhaps eating dinner as well, but I am defiantly napping.
Tomorrow – we ride. And D and I are going bowling with Miss Anne, her Boy and her man. I’m REALLY looking forward to this. I’ve missed the kid, and Anne and bowling. So it looks to be an enjoyable weekend, provided that I can get some writing done.
I think you all need some links now. Why? Because my words of wisdom aren’t working right now. So, go play on the internets! Now! That’s an order!
Lego Artist! I thought of Tali when I heard about this guy. It’s pretty damn cool, if you ask me, to build the kind of intricate works he creates. He called the process “organic” which I found interesting considering he’s working with plastic bricks!
Podcast classes from Berkley How cool is this? I think that this kind of media use, and eventually the use of video podcasts will aid the educational system. David gets disks from his school, but I thought using podcasting technology would save them tons on shipping for their distance learning students.
TerraPass: Fight global warming, promote alternative energy I thought this was really neat. Basically you buy back your emissions, and the money then goes to promoting alternative, cleaner energy sources. It costs less than you would think and it helps your pretty earth.
Charlie’s Soap – Laundry Liquid So, in my wanderings through the “getting natural” world, I realized that our soaps were pretty gross. So, this soap looks good. I know what you are saying, “Erica – it’s fucking laundry soap!” But I was happy when I found it so…..pffffft!
Day2Day Activities: How they named companies A link I jacked from Digg. It’s wierd because the links I am interested and amused by are the ones that get very little press. But, I guess that’s kind of par for the course.
Banksy Look at this guy’s work. He’s a grafitti artist with a message. Very very pointed commentary.
Creative Writing Yet another low-res program for my MFA, if I decide to go that way…decisions, decisions!
Our local bike shop! I love this place. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you may have. Please don’t think you are going into a Target or a Sports Authority here. Their stuff isn’t cheap , but it’s well made and worth the cash. That’s just me though. I would rather buy something once, rather than three or four times.
Happy Friday

Yeah – he’s funny as hell. I liked him a lot. That first guy that helped us was really nice as well. But Gary I think has the best laugh ever.
And honey – you are a bike junkie.
