How to combat Sunday blues

It’s simple: go to the dog park. Apparently it was hound day, with no less than six other beagles besides our two. And, as always, ours were the biggest. I think it’s got to be something we feed them. They are monster-dogs in comparison!
Last night I got my ass handed to be by Miss Anne in a high-spirited game of bowling. David and I met Anne, River and Will at Aloma Bowl for some good fun. The fun included a few pitchers, fat-laden food, and a lot of shit talking. We lost track of the second game, although I know I didn’t win that one either, and Anne smoked us all in the last round. We ended up back a the casa for a few more beers, but Mistress Anne’s fun-o-meter zonked at “too-much” and she headed home with her man and the boy. It seems I make Anne sick… it’s been a joke for years now, but it just seems she gets a stomach ache ever time we hang out. I’m starting to get a complex.
I did manage to get quite a bit done this weekend, including a trip to the library and all the laundry. As usual, the weather did not work with us, so we missed out on riding. But, it’s okay. I just want to get a good day-long ride in. I’ll never make it to the 60 miles (a trail I aspire to) if I don’t move my ass now.
School is what it is. I feel like graduation is just a tease right now! I got a package from Columbia College…. looking into their creative fiction program. We shall see.
I am looking forward to being involved in something immensely cool this month. I can’t speak of it here for fear of ruining the greatness of unsaid thing, but it’s way groovy. Also, Alexis and David both have birthdays this month! If you are thinking about getting D anything – go to Orange Cycle and get a gift certificate. That’s all he wants right now. I think he wants a pair of sunglasses and a few more bike pants.
Care packages are going out tomorrow!! woo hoo…. laundry time

I laughed about your beagles being the biggest at the park. We have 3 Boston Terriers who are always almost twice as big as the ones we see at the dog park.

We always get these looks that seem to say “What the hell are you feeding those two?” Not only are they wider, they are also significantly taller. I feel like we ended up adopting the freaky beagles…but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I blew chunks on the way home. I think its because we drank “darker” beer. And I don’t know when to stop. You know I love you both. We did have an awesome time till my fun-o-meter stopped working.
Thanks for coming out and lets do it again soon and I promise I wont drink as much nor eat Mexican food right before we go out.

I am telling you – Anne – you are allergic to me!! It’s offical! But I hope you felt better at least. It’s always that dark beer that’ll get you
But I had a blast
