Traveling Cat and a Gray Hair

We said goodbye last night. I’m not good with goodbyes. But I hugged her like I meant it and she teared up.

It’s funny. Who would have thought that we could have become the trifecta of coffee so quickly? But the class with Dr. Williams really solidified that relationship. And look now, she travels north where the cheese is made. I know I will make a journey north, to see real season and her smiling face, but I will miss her quick wit. Damn. I miss her already.

And I am going to blame her for the gray hair I just found.
It was pretty - in a silver way. I think when I do go really gray it will be a nice shade of silver - shiny and bright. But for the time being I plucked the aged hair from my scalp and scoured the dark strands for another interloper. I have a feeling there are more in there. My hair is too damn thick to see them all. And for the first time in a long time I am wearing my natural color. That should be remidied sometime next week when I get the color professionally done. David, as usual, has prodded me into getting something done right. First it was going to a proper hairdresser, then it was getting proper panties at Victoria’s Secret (which are so damn comfy! And the bras actually fit me! I tend to be between cups so Target bras don’t cut it) and now he is demanding that I get proper color done. I think he is just tired of donning the plastic gloves in order to help me get the back of my head. But what ever. Proper hair color it is.

Cat and Brian: Happy travels. May your journey be swift and joyful. And may great blessings follow you where ever you travel.
