My iPod is very bad for my homework. iTunes is worse.
I am offically in the “guest” room now. Computer is all set up. All the books are in and now there is an unbearably bare space in the window of the office. David’s desk looks lonely in there but it will be turned into the Reading Room soon enough.
My iPod is shiny. Just thought I would share that little tidbit.
So, Req Square last night. I saw some interesting people. We didn’t get there early enough so we had to sit on the long red bench with other booze-hounds. It wasn’t all that bad, but I didn’t get to chat with Sarah. I must reiterate - she makes tasty Cosmos. Yummy.
Today I got jack shit done. David killed the Trojan Horse that decided to take over this computer. I killed the vaccuum with a sock. There is still a lingering scent of dead motor in the air. The fucking thing wasn’t supposed to be running the brushy-thingy when I was using the hose. Damn contraption. I didn’t like it anyway. And, after noticing another disturbing burning scent near the dryer, I found that the exhaust hose was no longer attached and all this lint and hair and nastiness was spewing all over the place behing the washer. Yuk. I, with my nimble hands, managed to rattach the thing and the drying commenced. But I don’t think I am going to get the lint out of my nose now. Maybe I should shower again.
So, birthday is coming. Am I excited? Not particularly. I realize that in comparison to last year, this is going to be very smallish. But, I have also cleaned the closet, so to speak, so there are less numbers in the phone to call. Sometimes I think I was a bitch about things (yes, keep the sarcasm to yourself you weenie) but I do think that things and people change. One thing remains the same - I am moody. At least I can count on that! =)
PS. I love my boyfriend and he gives the best hugs that anyone could ask for.
Maybe I should get back to my homework now.
