Last night was nice and mellow. A huge departure from my feelings on Thursday night. What did we do? I immersed myself in my favorite dish ever: mole pablano (I swear to god they put drugs in it - it makes me happy just smelling the stuff!) at Margartia’s Grill. Their salsa is the best I have ever tasted and you get as much as you want. I don’t have to tell you how tempted I was to go back into the kitchen and steal all of their salsa. Then I realized I really liked the place and that I wanted to go back so it was best to avoid pissing everyone off just for the sake of salsa. When ever we go there I wish I could insert another stomach into my body so I can just keep eating. Yes, it’s that good. When we got home (after a quick trip to the grocery store and to get comics) we worked on homework. Boring? Yes. But it was a worthwhile endeavor.
This morning Puck had to get a heartworm shot. He loves riding in the car. David doesn’t necessarily like him in the car, because it’s new. Puck sheds and drools all over the place, but you can’t help but love his beagle face. I think he knew we were going to the vet. He kept making whining noises (he does this when he’s excited). He likes the vet. Lots of dogs and cats and smells; his kind of place.
So, it’s raining. The type of day I love. It’s reading weather. But, although I am anxious to dive into the joy of The Odyssey **note sarcasm**, I have other writing assignments that ache to occupy my time. No, writing on my blog is not one of the assignments.
This thing is bad for me because it distracts me from the things I really need to do. I need to learn to deny myself of the gluttonous pleasure that random acts give me. I am easily distracted, and this thing isn’t helping.
So, today is all about homework, housework, sexwork (hehehe I have wine and a willing boyfriend, my life is good), and taking it easy.
