It’s all blending, these sleepy mornings. I’ve spoken to my bosses and they’ve agreed to let me come in a little later on account of my meds. I’m not doing anyone any kind of good if I am staring blankly at my computer screen, trying to will wakefulness in my exhausted bones. Did you know I fell asleep for a moment on the toilet this morning? Yeah, it’s that kind of tired. I’m doing my best to keep it from overwhelming me. It sucks me down deeply into a ravine. I just want to lay down. That’s all I want.
Beyond that, life is peachy. Small thing make me smile. We bought the dogs new toys. One was a stuffed dragon, the other, a bee. They are both long – with rope legs and squeeky bellies. The squeakers are gone, but Puck and Pip race around the house, playing chase, with each has a grip on one end of these toys. IIt’s like a beagle-bolo. And Voodoo still races around the house and comes when I call, but loves to use me as a spring-board when he gets all sketchy.
We also bought a new trash can. It locks. You wouldn’t think that’s a very big deal, but Puck knocks trash cans over and indulges in a garbage buffett. So, we are thwarting his evil, dumpster-diving urges. Not only does it lock, I sprayed it down with a training spray so when he was trying to chew on the lock, he got a nasty reminder that it was a bad thing. We haven’t had one incident since the first day! We are triumphant.
And I’ve decided that I have purchased the winning lotto ticket. The rest of you should not despair, I’m a generous woman.
I’m off to fetch more coffee.

Yay for winning lotto tickets. I think we have earned it.
I am very satisfied with the trash can. If I had known it would be so easy to fix the trash tipping situation, I would have bought the damn can awhile ago. It was pricey, but worth it.
