A note from Jordan to his fans.
D and I both read the “Wheel of Time” series. Actually, we both stopped after a few books, but I remember loving the first three. Jordan is younger than I thought, and I hope he recoveres. He’s GOT to finish that damn series!

Well then at least we will know there are no more books coming!! Tee hee hee – just kidding. I would be sad too. He’s a great writer, just think he got swept up in the tide of his own writing.

Whoa, that sucks. Weren’t we making some light-hearted jokes about him not being able to finish the books and the legions of people who would lose it because of this? Hopefully he can recover well and finish his stories.

I can not hold my breath….With waiting for the last Harry Potter, and then the 5 years I’ve been waiting for Melanie Rawn to finish the Mage trilogy….. These fantasy writers seriously need to get their shit together.

Yeah, I told Brian last night about this and read him RJ’s statement, and he was not happy. B had made jokes before about the WOT series not getting finished, but then again we all thought he was considerably older then he actually is. I commend his determination to beat the odds and sometimes having a determination like his to finish something is enough to prolong life…or maybe that is just my optimism shining through.
