Today - an inbetweenday
We had a great time with the anniversary. We went to Bravissimo’s - the site for many of our long winded, heavily wine-d (not a word, but I am allowed to make things up, damnit.) conversations. I can’t tell you how many nights we spent yapping, debating and pondering the meaning of our universe. So, a couple of glasses of wine, and a very good chicken picatta, and we were on our way. To where, you ask? To a comic book store, of course! Ran into an old aquantiance, said hi, bought comics and then headed to the other store we always go to - the pet store. Purchased a second Kong - since the Beagle-butts will fight over just one. Then we got home, placated the doggies with peanut butter filled Kongs and headed out.
We ended up at a remarkably charming little place called The Bull and Bush - a place we will visit again. They have Strongbow on tap, as well as Guiness, comfy little booths and the sweet scent of cigarettes lingering in the air. We stayed too long, had too many drinks and I felt it this morning when I went to work. But the night was grand and well worth a little headache.
I can’t get this cough to go away. It’s pissing me off. Grrrr.
