Cell phones?
Posted on | June 20, 2006 | 11 Comments
So, D and I are thinking of switching companies once our contract is up. I am still more than a little bitter about having to pull the cancer story out of my ass in order to get a sub-standard replacement for my phone that crapped out on me. So, that being said – what do you think of your cellphone company? We have Sprint and have gotten screwed…so share with us!

I have Sprint but it is my work phone. Will has Sprint too. So I cannot give you any advice. Those new really thin razor phones are kick a$$. I think they are with Verizon or Cinguar.

Cingulars decent just don’t go to the store next to Barnies because it is crap and the employees are idiots

I had AT&T for a long time, even when they didn’t have local Tallahassee numbers. Then it turned into Cingular and claimed they have the least dropped calls, but I drop more calls now than ever. One time, they charged me for all my mobile to mobile calls and I had to talk to 15 people until one woman believed that they made a mistake and simply erased the charge. I think what it comes down to is that no company is all that great. My husband has Sprint and has never been screwed but I hear every other company sucks. I stay with Cingular and I don’t know why. This hasn’t helped, has it?

Cingular here,
we get a few dropped calls and sometimes an echo other than that they are good.

What is the main provider in Portland? Maybe look into that.
Will had AT&T here in Orlando and then moved to LA and the service was SH*T. He eventually switched to Sprint and honestly we have never had any problems. But it was a lesson learned that the service in one city will not be the same in another.

They’re all evil. I have cingular and they are also evil, but they haven’t incurred my rage yet.

Yeah… I agree. But we don’t have a landline anymore, and so they are a necessary evil for us. Blech!

Nah still here. In just 6 short weeks I finish my last required class – yay for finishing coursework! Then I have a three week break in O-Town. THEN I get to head over to Italy (for almost four months)! I really should be practicing my Italian more than I am.
