I took this when I visited Tali in Chicago last year. I took the photo in both directions, but like where this one ends up – in trees. I know I need to keep plodding along, making each step count. And I am not whining about how much work I have to get done. I am just coming to the understanding that there are things that must be done this weekend without fail. It’s not fuck around time any more. Not at all. In my mad attempts at getting the thesis done, I’ve let my films of the 80′s class slip. That’s a big no-no! So I am going to have a few balls to juggle this weekend. And I know I can. I just need to hope on the train and get moving. Maybe then I can contemplate the trees.

My weekend is also a wash. This whole working and going to school thing sucks. I don’t get personal time beyond the hour of TV here or the trip out to the bar there. I want to have a personal project. I want to be able to play through a role playing game. We’ll we’re almost done and soon we will be able to enjoy the freedom of graduation. WOOT!
