I am going to kill my dogs

D and I got home from running an errand to find both dogs covered in paint. They ate D’s oils and acrylics. Puck went for red, his mouth covered in the stuff.  Pip went for the orangish red with dabs of yellow on his chest, and a little spot of blue on his feet. Did I mention that Puck’s teeth were covered in dark red oil paint? I have just spent the last two hours getting it off of carpets (one is completly trashed) blankets, futons and dogs (I was happy about hosing them down out back. Revenge….). On one hand it’s funny but on the other, I want them both dead. My hands are covered in dry oil paints and D’s behind on his homework. They are lucky we love them otherwise it would be beagles on spikes!

    Nothing that I couldn’t clean up, really. Although there are a few things in the dryer that I haven’t had the heart to look at yet.. fun with beagles
