Bush: Katrina recovery will take time

Thanks, Mr. President for pulling your head out of your ass to notice.

I saw park of Spike Lee’s film about Katrina’s devastation the other night when I got home from school. It’s disgusting how the insurance companies were able to wriggle out of paying the damages. What’s the sense in paying them if their coverage is like swiss cheese. There are so many factors that came into play that allowed them to deny claims. I would think the president, with all his power and glory, could push for the effort to rebuild. Bring attention to the matter. He should call for the same caring support that NYC got after 9/11. Although you can’t announced “Mission Accomplished” against Nature. What you can do is relax enviornmental standards. Because that helps us all.
