Don’t eat the spinach!

Posted on | September 15, 2006 | 11 Comments

This is a little scary.

I’ve purchased bagged salad and spinach for a long time. I like the convienance, although I do realize that it’s more expensive that way. Sometimes a full-time woman has to cut corners on time. But this…I think I shall move back to my shiney fruits and veggies that call for my hands to clean them, not some scary machine.

**edit** sometimes the “press it” feature on WordPress gets a little wonky.

The article doesn’t seem to come up. But if it’s about salmonella in the bag salad, I saw that. I keep wanting to pick some up but then I think of this and decide not to.

“Press it” feature? I always just edit html and then click the linky button to make it go onto a separate page. Is there a better way I don’t know about?

Well it’s a feature where if you are on a page (like the story about the Spinach) and you want to post the link to that page on your site you can use the “Press It.” You can find the link at the very bottom of a write page. I am using Firefox so I dragged the link to my bookmark toolbar and I use it for various links. Sometimes it’s a bit buggy, but it usually works :)
I may not be explaining this clearly….I didn’t have much coffee this morning.

No, I think I get it. My coffee hadn’t started working yet either so I was confused.

Probably a good idea. Unless there is someone you wish poison someone then you are set. I wonder if eColi would live on an arrow? I could be a superhero with a poisoned bow and arrow (like morrowind!!)….

Umm…last time I checked super heros don’t poison people…but good thought anway. I was just talking with a friend and I decided I should be a coder hitman.

    How this works:

I write code that kills you in various ways. The example we came up with involved a program that printed stuff…but the paper was laced with bad bad stuff so it killed you when you touched it. See…How cool would that be?

Frankie – if you are going to kill people with code and paper, then I think I deserve killer-germ arrows. It’s only fair.

Cat – yeah! No shit. No veggies in a bag ever again.
