Louis Armstrong got it right

I see trees of green…….. red roses too
I see em bloom….. for me and for you
And I think to myself…. what a wonderful world.I see skies of blue….. clouds of white
Bright blessed days….dark sacred nights
And I think to myself …..what a wonderful world. The colors of a rainbow…..so pretty ..in the sky
Are also on the faces…..of people ..going by
I see friends shaking hands…..sayin.. how do you do
Theyre really sayin……i love you.I hear babies cry…… I watch them grow
Theyll learn much more…..than Ill never know
And I think to myself …..what a wonderful worldThe colors of a rainbow…..so pretty ..in the sky
Are there on the faces…..of people ..going by
I see friends shaking hands…..sayin.. how do you do
Theyre really sayin…*spoken*(I ….love….you).I hear babies cry…… I watch them grow
*spoken*(you know their gonna learn
A whole lot more than Ill never know)
And I think to myself …..what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself …….what a wonderful world.
I wrote this lovely post about the rainbow that erupted from the unseen edges of I-4 this morning, and then this song came on, and I thought it was more poetic than my little words. So, may you have some nice Louis Armstrong with your coffee. And Happy Wednesday

I AM drinking coffee – thank you for the beautiful words. They go well with this breeze and the sounds of a not-so bustling campus. I think everyone skipped today to do something outside!

Coffee is the elixer of life. If I am giving up all of these vices, I will damn well keep coffee because it still makes me happy.
I wish we all could take a vacation from work…wouldn’t that be fun. I would like to call in well — too well to be locked into an office
