From the depths of a shit-tastic week comes hope, reborn and clean. My trust for my coworkers has been shattered. I will walk softly, carefully and remember that my time here is limited. I won’t bring work home with me (both literally and figuratively). That’s just the way of my life today.

I am looking forward to this weekend though. David and I are going riding  and I really mean it. We had a hitch installed on the back of Vader so we can put the bikes on a rack without banging the hell out of the back of the car. We need to use it. And we shall. Besides, I have a nifty new seat that I need to try out. I hope this one won’t kill my bits. Oooh. And I love my cyclometer. I just love toys.
D and I are going to see the new James Bond movie. I’ve read good reviews and I think that taking the story away from the gadgets and focusing more on Bond’s character (moral) and the relationships sets the movie up for a success. We’ve all seen the big, bombastic pyrotechnics. They bore me. New direction — woo hoo!!   I think that Daniel Craig is very very sexy in an unusual, rock-hard body kind of way. Add Eva Green (The Dreamers, Kingdom of Heaven) and you have a recipe for  a fun flick. I will warn you now, and I have stated this before, I like almost all of the movies I see. Perhaps my gushing seems over the top, but I love the escapist nature of film.

Art Feast ended up being a lot of fun. Thanks to Julie and Amanda for being there to witness D and I smushing red velvet cupcakes in each other’s faces. I should tell you the back story. When D and I got married (the second time), I made cupcakes instead of a traditional wedding cake. As the night wore on (and I think I’ve told this story a million times) I found that all of the cupcakes were gone. So sad for me. So my presentation for Art Feast was meant to showcase the cake exchange that never happened. Yes, D and I got rowdy and instead of feeding each other, we aimed for maximum cupcake damage.  I admit to losing that battle. Icing went in my hair, my eyelashess and my ear. I only managed to get a little on D’s shoulder and then I shucked the barely-damaged cupcake at him. It was less than effective. There should be lots of pictures, and I promise to share. It was fun. I hope I got an A. Well, I should have. My project was dangerous, damnit.

The PS3 came out. I wants.

Today I get to go to the doctor to have some moley-moleys removed. (What was that movie again?) I’m not that jazzed about this, but I need to get them looked at before I end up with something truly nasty. Joy.

And on that note, I am going to go to the bathroom because I’ve had entirely too much water this morning. Thank you for listening, and happy Friday.

We might see the new Bond too - I haven’t seen a bad review yet.

    Neither have I! :)
I saw a picture of Daniel Craig in a speedo. Oh my.

I heard that that scene was purely “accidental” and not written in. Yeah right ;)

Accidental or not, I am grateful. That speedo looked good on him. I only hope this doesn’t start a resurgence of Speedo wearers. Only a body like that can pull it off.
