I almost killed Valentine last night. The stubborn ass wanted to sleep on my pillow and wouldn’t leave me alone. I kept pushing him off and he kept crawling back up. I felt him jump on the bed, that last time, and I popped him in the face. A rush of guilt washed over me, and then I remembered, I had a final to take and I needed my sleep. I rested well for the rest of the night.

I just found out via a co-worker that my company owns property right near Cape Canaveral. What does that mean to me? I get to see the shuttle launch from just across the Indian River. How fucking cool is that? I may hate my job most of the time, but there are some hidden benefits. Perhaps I WILL be able to take cool pictures. I hope so!

I have my grammar final. There’s a part of me that kind of cares about doing well, but I have to admit that I spent yesterday evening ogling TVs (I dream of Final Fantasy in 50″) and playing my video game. I thought about studying. Then I forgot about it.

Today my stitches will be removed - thank god! I am tired of my sports bras catching on them. And after the dermatologist, I am going to my general prac to talk to him about my carpal tunnel. It’s gotten much worse. At the end of the day the pain radiates up my shoulder, my elbow feels like someone hit it, and my right hand is nearly useless. There’s also a loss of grip strength. This needs to be fixed.

My coffee is almost cool enough for me to drink.

Cat flies home today - wish her happy trails (she’s been in Cali since Sunday), and on that note, I have some paperwork to finish before I head out. Toodles
