D showed me this last night. I must say — holy SHIT!
I would like to state this for the record - this is a movie based on a graphic novel, and as such, is allowed to go into the color saturation and CG realm without any need for explanation. Suspend reality, for just a moment, and then watch it again.
If you want the whole story before the movie comes out, pick up 300 by Frank Miller (yes, the man that brought you Sin City).

B and I just watched it…we cannot wait to see it. B was thinking for some reason that Robert Rodriguez was doing this one…guess not, but in any event it looks f-ing amazing!
Nope. And apparently there are issues with the next Sin City. Something about ego and money and such. Who knows. I try not to listen to internet rumors, but… I’m a sucker for geek gossip. But, 300 does look badass. Have you or B ever read the story ?
Yeah I’ve been pumped about this movie for a couple weeks now - I think it will be awesome!
