It’s almost a holiday, but still Monday
Posted on | December 18, 2006 | 7 Comments
I only have energy for a list.
- Our vet takes too long on a Sunday night.
- The visit for Pip kept me up way past my bedtime.
- I appreciate the night appointments, bug damn.
- Bellydancing – tonight (right Anne?!?!?!)
- I have cramps.
- And that thing that comes with cramps….got that too.
- I think men should have periods and cramps.
- It’s only fair.
- My tires are flat on my car.
- Vayna left on Thursday night and won’t be back until January.
- That bums me out.
- I found my missing library book.
- I have Christmas cards to send out.
- They will probably be swallowed by my messy desk.
- USAA banking rocks.
- Pip’s allergies worry me.
- I think I missed many calls this weekend.
- I felt like poop this weekend and didn’t go into work.
- Right now, I have piles to get through, so I’ll get to it.
Happy Monday

Crap – I forgot to send y’all a card. I keep remembering people after I’ve sent a slew of cards.

LOL it’s okay – really. I am terrible about cards and such. The intent is there but my follow-through sucks.

I’ve sent a bunch – some reluctantly (like to me evil money-hungry aunt)- but I know there are people I am forgetting. Which totally annoys me.

I disagree about the men having cramps thing. Also what Dead Can Dance songs do you like? I have Royksopps Night out live cd, its great.

Wow. Uhm. Songs. Shit. I don’t think anyone’s ever asked me that. I shall do my best.
I love the following songs:
Song of the Dispossessed
In the Kingdom of the Blind the One-Eyed are Kings
Ulysses
Enigma of the Absolute
Saltarello
Lisa Gerrard’s voice, in general, makes me cry and I’m still not sure if it’s because I feel profound sadness or if a part of me is awakened -that hidden raw part that exists in the shadows.
As for Royksopp. I haven’t heard the live one, but I shall pick it up. They bring a smile to my face.

And on a side note, yes, men should have cramps. Equality, I say. Share in my pain!

I’ll take cramps if women take out the trash
