Because I’m tired

Since the end of the week I’ve …. well…yes… this is another list…
- been hung over at work
- remembered how much I love Orange Blossom Pilsner
- missed a friends gathering (Sorry ginny and amanda)
- rediscovered my love for the in laws
- snored
- cried
- sat on the couch while D did homework
- sung at the top of my lungs
- manage to make it to target unscathed
- walked beagles
- watched a crappy movie
- danced in the car
David and I headed to his brother’s house for the first of three family engagements. It went more smoothly than I anticipated. Although I know they are utterly accepting and loving, I still get a little anxious, and it makes me sad. No matter how distant my family seems, no matter how disjointed, I always long for their presence. I haven’t celebrated Christmas for years. Why? Lots of reasons, but there’s something I miss about the tradition.
I am very tired, but I plan on seeing a more family tomorrow, and then, perhaps, some friends. Call me if you get bored, but I D and I will be free later in the evening. Sorry Clair and Chris, but I just got your e-mail.
But now it’s bed time for the old lady.
Nite nite.

It’s cool; we went to a meat restaurant anyway. Hope you had a good time with family obligations.

sometimes there is a reason for missing something and sometimes there is not…either way don’t waste time on guilt…enjoy the holiday and all of the gatherings whether your family is there in spirit or in person. it’s almost the start of a new year…new beginings…and new experiences…and that, is something. luv u

Sorry Dawn. It did ring a bell, but I was buried in blankets and sorrow. My intentions were there, but my mood wasn’t. I know I will see you again, someday
Thanks Cat
Oftentimes, you are my clarity.
