Extended Commentary

Just a few thoughts on just a few things.

Two American Hostages
Is it just me or does this continual presence in Iraq seem utterly void of any logic? They don’t want us there. And while the military casualties are tragic, who is speaking for the thousands of Iraqis who are dying due to our bombs? Where is the account of their losses? I never believed the “weapons of mass destruction” crap, and if we had listened to the UN, things would be different. I believe in peaceful negotiations, not threats. I wonder if our illustrious president sleeps well at night knowing he is responsible for the deaths of thousands – people who did not die for the “war on terror” (which should have been remained centered in Afghanistan until Osama could be found), but died for his grudge against Hussein and the need to “protect” our oil interests. It’s funny because we are doing a bang up job of keeping their oil flowing. But the damage smolders, and I wonder what do we do now?

Ghost in the Shell: Innocence
Some of you have listened to me bitch about this, but I am still fucking irritated. Why Sarasota? Why not Orlando? We have tons of anime nuts here. I don’t get the logic and I am mucho pissed. I want to see it in the theatre. If we have to we will be driving somewhere (i.e. hours away) to catch it….. Sometimes I think the movie companies don’t want to make money on films like this. Fuckers.

The King Bed
I never want to leave it. Ever. Waking in the morning saddens me. I am not “lazy” but I love being in that bed! It’s like a pillow-topped drug! It’s an evil thing of beauty and I can’t wait till we get really good sheets for it !!

Macs
We are on our way to being a fully Mac household. David’s G5 is riding around on a FEDEX truck as I type this. I guarantee before I post it, he will call me and tell me its been delivered. He’s been tracking the thing from California, which cracks me up. And he got the creature speakers-, which I plan, on stealing. Okay. I won’t steal them, but I want nice speakers too.
Oh, and I found myself gleefully reading Macworld last night. It’s all over. I’m a bloody nerd.

PMS
Men should suffer from this. Then they would understand the insanity of it all. I know David sees me from the outside, raging and inconsolable. The sad part is I know what is going on. My boobs hurt. I suffer from endless exhaustion. I can’t keep my moods logical. And then I bleed and I feel better. Who knew bleeding was so nice?

The Site
I am still working on trying to get the comments thing going. It’s pissing me off how slammed I am getting. But, such is life with a blog. I hope these spammers wear underwear, and it catches on fire while they are driving.

Family
Alexis is going to have a little girl. Man, the gods must love me because I am going to laugh if her daughter grows into a prima-donna prissy pants like Lex. I don’t mean this in a bad way. But Lex has always been the “girl” in our family. But she is doing well, although, I’m not really sure when she’s due. I am such a shitty sister sometimes.

I think I just grew up. It feels wierd. hm.

So am I. But I am not the fizzy type. I am the cherry bomb type. BOOM! Smokey. Done.

I need some Strongbow, then I can get sensitive.

I’m actually moody all month. It’s just a matter of selecting which opportunity to let it explode. Or, to be more brooding and less explosive, let it fizz, like alka seltzer, which is much more intense.

I’ll have you know sandra bullock has no place in my movie interests. But to be sappy, I’d probably listen to Thompson Twins and drink beer. That’s about as sensitive as I get.

[read this post with a 'dry monotone voice' in mind]

Don’t even try to lie ! You know that once a month you are secretly watching Sandra Bullock movies and eating Bon-Bons with one hand and Doritoes with the other….

    Hehehehehehe!

I didn’t mean by experiencing it myself, but dealing with those who do. Booyah!

I agree. Although the severity varies. The physical symptoms (cramps, sore boobies) are just the icing on the cake when it comes to that madness….

Do you crave chips when you are pmsing?
