- Skipped out of work most of this week in order to get grad school and studying done.
- Finished all of the grad school stuff except this fucking “Letter of Intent”
- It’s due today.
- As I write this, it’s 12:06 in the morning.
- I am fucking tired.
- Perhaps I should go to bed and try to finish it during normal Friday hours.
- I wish I didn’t have to work.
- All I want for christmas are my two front teeth
- and brain cells…. brain cells would be nice.
- I am going to go to bed now because I can’t think straight and I find myself entranced by the motions of my fingers on my keyboard as I write this.

I don’t know. They call it different things: personal statement, graduate introduction, personal essay, etc. It seems to be a standard requirement of the application process. It’s a bitch, I can tell you that.
