I miss Dr. Grey. Poor guy got so much crap from my class, and half of us were ENV majors. Don’t sweat it he rewards effort.

My favorite place here in Florence is Boboli Gardens. There are all these little paths through wooded areas where you can escape the tourists and walk through leaves and dirt beneath the trees. Some people get lost in the paths for bird watching; I do it to listen to the trees. There is no peace on earth quite like it.

This guy was soooo little. I tried to take a picture of him on the ground, but the damn camera wouldn’t focus, so I have some lovely shots of the pine needles behind him… they are on my flikr page (you’ll get there if you click the pics above)

Turtles are awesome. Getting lost in Longwood is a good thing - my parents live there :). Glad all is working out with the school stuff.
