I noticed that on the radar and was wondering what the deal was. What sorts of natural problems does Portland have, if any?

Methinks earthquakes…and lots of rain. Being on the West coast, I am going to assume there is an earthquake issue. Beyond that…a few dormant volcanoes a ways off. No place is perfect, but I am very very tired of the whole “hurricane” thing… no more for me, thanks!

Earthquakes and the potential for a few volcanoes. Mt. Ranier is the closest I think, but I don’t know for sure.
