I say read them… a few (i am sure) are worthy of shredding, some you will find, may be to beautiful in their own right to get rid of. So shred and save!

I am still mulling over the journals thing. I thought it was kind of interesting that you two have divergent opinions — which is pretty much how I feel right now.

I find something really cathartic about destroying old journals especially when they are full of pain or other such feelings. I’ve had a couple great shredding events over the years and each time I felt like I set myself free.

And, I want to see you before you leave.

Every time I have moved I throw away papers - writings from classes, etc - and it’s always been difficult. But I never throw away journals. I cart them around in this plastic wal-mart storage bin. I just can’t let them go.
