This is your head…
Portland stuff, Seton Hill June 27th, 2007

This is your head when you are trying to move across the country in less than a week with a living room full of boxes and a million things to do while trying to plan all the goodbyes and somehow fit in some writing otherwise you will got absolutely apeshit (and if anyone from Seton Hill is reading this… HI! *waves* )because if you get behind there is no time to catch up when you are drowning in a list of things to do.
Because I am slightly nuts, I decided that I would have my whole house packed before I went to bed tonight. So, how did I do?
I’m sitting on my couch, listening to the Daily Show, and the kitchen, my office, our bedroom, the shed, the back porch — all have to be packed. On a happy note, the closets are done.
Please.
Someone.
Shoot me.
I have a million things to tell you about Seton Hill. I never finished talking about all the people - the girls and the odd Saturday, and the excess, and lack of sleep, and the ridiculous detour we had to take to get back to Pittsburgh. I think I will write about all of that when we start traveling on Saturday. Right now, my life is full of boxes that need to be filled.
Oh - if I promised you anything, come and get ‘em ASAP (I meant to call you Julie, but I’m stupid and forgot). Amanda has been kind enough to help up sell off some of the shit we collected. She’s having her garage sale on Saturday, and we are going to contribute! Hopefully we can get some lunch money out of it.
I want to write more, but failing at my packing goal has exhausted me. I think the bed calls.

About

I see some of my old boxes…hehehe.
You will get it done my dear with little time to say good bye.
However, I am not saying good bye - just see you later. Since we are earning points for Delta miles, we hope to visit you shortly.
xoxo

don’t worry about not calling I’ve only been having sporadic contractions.
It will come together…never as you like it to, or as soon as you want it to…but somehow in the end at the 11th hour everything gets done…and then you will breathe a big sigh from the accomplishment and then another deep breath in preperation for the next task…getting across the United States!
J - Yay! for contractions, well not so much the actual contractions, but what they imply…that you will not be pregnant forever!
You are amazing! Hey what is the address of the yard sale sat? i love those things.
