I used to kid that he would die before he finished the series. I feel like a total ass now.

Apparently (according to rumor) he did write the ending, but it is not clear if it is ready for release or if anyone was given rights to complete it for him. Perhaps down the road we’ll see something similiar to Tolkien’s newly released book which was pieced together by a relative.

I have the newest Tolkien book but have yet to read it. I’m only on Book 2 of Jordan’s so maybe by the time I reach the end, they’ll have pieced things together.
