Purpose: Obtuse Commentary

Only a few of you should understand this.
The most memorable quote from Leslie Law’s classes (besides “I’m giving you gold”) was “you need to live on the skinny branches.” It’s an unfamiliar place for me. The risks I take do not usually invite the possibility of failure, so in the end, I don’t think they are risks at all. It’s time to look down and see how high this branch is.
The funny thing about all of this is that if the bough breaks, the bruises will heal, and my legs will still work. The very real possibility of a fall cannot deter my need to take this chance. The first step taken, I climbed the tree with difficulty. In a few days I will find the proper limb, and really look down…. perhaps I will be scared then.
I admit, I’m scared now.

Obtuse yes… but I love the quote “you need to live on the skinny branches”.
My life if freed up – I’d love to hang sometime.
