• was not impressed with Ironman, but D liked it. B was entertained as well. Oh well, at least I got to see the trailers for Indy and Batman.
  • The weather is amazing right now. Sunny, clear and just cool enough to keep you from overheating.
  • Making progress on the school stuff.
  • Saw Amandapants @ Cup and Saucer and spent waaay too much time enjoying her company.
  • Realized that Ihop’s pancakes don’t suck that bad, but their coffee is awful.
  • Had to go to a babyshower while at work. I hate babies. And showers. And cute, pink things that make grown women “squee” — that’s amanda’s word and I’m stealing it.
  • Updated the blog with the newest version of Wordpress. I like.
  • Will ride my bike to work tomorrow morning without trying the route out with D. It’s time to take a ride.

The plans for the week are pretty tight. Lots of work, not enough time. But hey, its’s life. And congrats to Cat on her new car. I love the color.

I HAVE a baby and I still don’t care for baby showers and especially not pink things. Also, I never “squee” at pink baby things. EVER.

I dont “squee” I wish that I could reproduce that sound :) But I like pink as long as it is tied in with brown or black. otherwise its too…pepto. Yuck.

I had talked myself into going to the movies by myself last Friday night… But the theatre that is closest to me is in the mall. I HATE the mall. So I am trying hard not to rip some EMO kids face off as I am walking in…cause you know how cool she is, anywhooo, as I walk in I pass Barnes and Noble… I try (not very hard mind you) to keep moving but I somehow manage to get sucked into the vortex of bound books. In leu of spending money on a movie that I really did not want to see by myself, I splurged at the bookstore.

Besides, at least I can read the book in the comfort of my home and in my Gnome jammies no less… and I dont have to fight for a seat and sit bolt upright in some theatre listening to people chit chat and cell phones ring through a movie that I just spent 10 bucks to see…

It is monday and I am feeling a little bitter….

Hey E - Nick is 13 today! when did I grow up? How did the time slip away so fast? UGH, I am OLD…:(
