Don’t forget you can thank Company A for their offer and ask if you can get back to them. If you feel like you’re comfortable, you can even tell them you’re waiting to hear back on another interview and would like to weigh your options. That might convince them to pony up some more bennies. (And don’t be shy about calling Company B, apologizing for potentially rushing them, and letting them know you have an offer from another company – you’d love to work for their company if they have a competitive offer. Blah blah.)
