Dyer Doing the Dirty
Politics January 18th, 2005
You know, I voted for the slimy bastard.
I have anticipated this article. Management provided us with the info a couple of weeks ago. I know it doesn’t seem like very big news, but this move by our slithery mayor has the ability to change how this utility functions. And the fact that he has done all of this in a shady way (which seems to be his mode of operation) just makes me regret time and again for putting his name on that ballot…. I helped put him in the seat he jiggles in, and I would love to kick his ass out. The promises he made (later hours for the bars downtown, revitalizing the area without forcing people out), the deals he has done (Jaymont block, Parramore) and now this. It’s just too much.
He’s going to fuck up and break the Sunshine law. I think that will be the easiest way to get him.
About

What kind of fucking idiot would want to fuck with a flawless system. Oi, Winter Park handles their own water and they had nothing but trouble during the hurricane emergencies. While we didn’t have power, at least we didn’t have to worry about boiling water on top of that. I’m fucking sick to death of politicians.
If he was truly concerned with the water system, then this would have been a priority when he came into office. It’s not a matter of public need though, it’s about the cash-strapped city. I think people take for granted the good system they have with OUC, and I really hope people realize that Winter Park does have tons of problems and Orlando doesn’t…
I realize I was mistaken about my buddy Buddy…
you know i could say something about Buddy Dyer… but im not gonna because i dont wanna spark a HUGE debate that is really gonna piss some people off….
Uhm…okay.
