Overwhelmed

Ring Ceremony, visiting family, trying to figure out how to get 2 wheelchair bound people through the back gate and how to keep my head from hurting.

Isn’t this supposed to be fun? Didn’t we plan things this way so I wouldn’t stress? I should just take the experience and run with it but I want our imperfect, quirky party/ceremony to be perfect….makes sense right?!? It doesn’t, I know. I think the other thing that has chapped my ass is the lack of RSVP’s from family. From this day forward I am going to assume that I know where I stand with most of them: no where. It shouldn’t hurt my feelings but it does. But it also makes it really hard to plan correctly. I usually make too much food, buy too much booze, but that is usually for a gathering 1/4 of the size of this one. At last count (assuming everyone shows up) there should be over 50 people there, including several kids. Busy busy busy.

And school is kicking my bottom. I just need to remind myself to read, read, read!

On a happy note, because I always find one – We recieved our first wedding gift!! It was the all-clad cooking utensils. They are shiny! I love shiny! I can’t wait to use them. Too bad I have been so exhausted!

Also, I am going to turn the Doodoo (his new name) into a rug. All last night he ran to and fro, bounding on my back and scaring me out of a sound sleep. Do you think it would be okay to drug him?

FYI, I tried that method with mosquitoes once and again recently with wasps, but it didn’t work. Cats and dogs are somewhat more sentient though, so your mileage may vary.

Perhaps we should just crucify him, and leave him as an example for any of the other animals that feel it necessary to wake us. :) )
