It Builds and I Bruise

I am returning the pinatas for something more….un-Fiesta. How does everyone feel about a Snoopy themed wedding?

I want to take a picture of the damage done by a tiny needle, but the camera’s battery was dead. So, I stare at the dark purple form that stretches far away from the tiny intrusion. Bruises form in interesting shapes and colors. I think I like this shade of purple on me, it looks dashing!

Taste is a nifty little place. It screams “date night” with artworks that seem to float on a bed of light, and comfy chairs that cup the bottom just so. We didn’t eat, just sipped wine and enjoyed the mini-reuinion that blossomed. I hadn’t see Jess in ages, David in a week, and Kat in eons, so we enjoyed ourselves. The menu looks quite interesting. Everything comes in smaller portions so you can mix and match the menu to your heart’s delight. I think we are going to try dinner there sometime soon. If you visit, ask for Jess – she’s a great server!!

Wandering the rows of plastic birthday wishes, colorful crepe paper and sparkly things that cost too much, we realized that a fiesta theme didn’t come easy. The decor said either “tacky”, or it wasn’t there at all. How hard is it to find a sombrero in this town? So, we are switching things up a bit. Figures we would change our minds with so little time to plan. I just love the pressure.

I purchased lights and a fire bowl for the yard. I am very excited by the prospect of fire. I can’t use my bloody fireplace, so I damn well better have something to burn things in safely.
It’s lunch time, so you may return to your regularly scheduled programming.

    Here’s your answer Erica
    Q. Who are the dancing girls featured in A Charlie Brown Christmas?

    A. The twin sisters named “Three” and “Four,” who are most commonly recognized as the bouncy dancing girls in A Charlie Brown Christmas, were characters from the daily PEANUTS in the 60′s. They had an Older Brother named “Five.”

I want to be “5″. Only serious Peanuts fans know “5″.

Maybe not a Snoopy themed wedding, I think all of the Peanuts characters should be involved. You can be Sally and David can be Linus… I have to be Lucy.
