Let’s Go Ride a Bike

We decided this weekend to make some changed to the finances. Instead of shelling out the monthly fee to the Y, we purchased bikes. I have a gym at work that I need to utilize and it costs me nearly nothing. The bikes weren’t cheap, but they came highly recommended and seem to fit our needs. I need something that I can “do” something with. I really dig night riding, so instead of polluting my lungs with smoke and killing my liver with booze, I am going to ride a bike all over town. If you have a little ride, let me know! We can make a day of hauling ass down the pavement!

There is a bike trail that will be right beside my new apartment. It goes through Baldwin and Thorton Park.
Maybe this summer we can all take a bike ride journey.:razz:

That sounds like a plan! I know which one you are talking about (I think). I’ve been longing to trek down there. I think one of these days I am going to bike down there and then use my rollerblades part of the way….. I loooooooove rollerblading !

Congrats! Hopefully you got a light one….I think we had this discussion about how unmotivating it is to lug around a 2 ton Mongoos contraption. I cannot wait to trade it for a new one!

Cat – it weighs less than my books…which isn’t saying much, but it’s very light. And hug-able in a strange metallic way…. Okay… yeah… guess its a touch odd that I would want to hug my bike but I’m looney that way!
