Planes, Snowfall, and Wind

Plane – we flew Frontier. I have to say, their service is awsome. Not only did we get through checkout without a problem, their customer service was spectacular. Mr. July was kind enough to pick us up and take us to the airport. We wandered about Orlando International, picking up a beverage here and marveling at the change in their security procedures….
To get through security was a slight ordeal. They don’t tell you that you have to put your belongings in a little plastic containers…but we figured things out. As usual, I beeped too many times, so I had a nice personal search that was blissfully quick. I felt cheated – no body cavity search! And I thought I was going to get some action!
The plane was smallish, David got the window. All in all it was quite enjoyable. The only problem is they serve unlimited drinks, but when turbulence hits, you cannot use the restoom. David looked like he was going to piss himself at one point so we told our sassy flight attendant that he had to go. There were lots of people that got up when they weren’t supposed to, but since we asked we were spared the dirty looks. We got a snack pack, and it was yummy. But I have to admit I was glad when the flight was over.
Mom and Alexis met us at the airport. It then took 2 hours to get to their house. My mother drives slow, and the conditions were not ideal. Huge gusts of wind tossed the SUV around, making me wonder if it would have been smarter to fly earlier in the day.
We have our own room. Talia is bunking with Alexis. When we went to sleep last night the wind was terrible. It was snowing, which was nice but the wind kept me awake. Drinking and conversation lasted till 3, and I woke up this morning quite un-hungover. The day was spent on homework and farting around. Tomorrow is shopping in Denver and maybe a trip to Breckenridge. I am glad to be here, but damn, I miss the kids……

By the way, do you need a lift from the airport as well? Let me know.
