Free Comic Book Day is tomorrow! If there’s anything that I don’t want then I will give it to the Little Stream…Miss A’s little man! I figure I can give him the stuff that doesn’t appeal to me, which is most of the free stuff. But, some of the titles look interesting, and I like the people at the store!
This is the store I frequent. They are really nice there and they indulge my goofy love of odd toys. Give them a try!
I am very jazzed at the prospect of a darker
Star Wars. The clips that I’ve seen and the parts of the score I’ve heard really get my juices flowing. For some reason Yoda kicking ass makes me all giggly!
Okay more dorky stuff. Why? Because I’m just that much of a dork.
My favorite author is Charles DeLint. The site isn’t terribly impressive, but I really like his books. He writes urban-fantasy, which would be likened to a modern-day setting with fantastic elements. I would recommend Memory and Dream and Spirits in the Wires. Trader is pretty good too.
My new favorite thing about Tiger is the widgets. I have a hula girl that dances, D has rotating monsters, and people seem to be popping new ones out all the time. There’s been some grumbling about issues with Tiger, but my experience has been sweet. No issues! I love it. The spotlight feature for search access is a joy. Yay for tiger!
When I get my birthday present (a PSP…how do I know I am getting one? Because I’ve been begging for it!!! and I will cry if I don’t get one. And D doesn’t want to see me cry…hence… PSP) this game is the first one I want. I feel kind of indulgent getting one of these things, but I figure it will be great for road trips, or serve as a distraction when I’m riding in the car with D (his driving scares me). Yes……I am very spoiled. I know this…..
And this is just funny. It has nothing to do with dorky stuff…
