Ahhh, hurricane season. It may be bad it may not. It’s kind of like a lottery, one that sucks real bad if you win. The season happens every year, all you can do is hope for the best, but don’t discount mother nature, as so many “smart” people did last year.

I think we should make some preperations early this time. Water, batteries, candles, and pop-tarts. I know we can grill out, which is a good thing (especially since we have 2 grills!). I also want to remind everyone that rents to get renter’s insurance. I have to call USAA and get them to up our coverage.
Man, I really hope we don’t get nailed this time….

I hope we don’t too. I feel a little concern about the state of our roof. Some preparation is a good idea. We should look into getting a car charger for the laptop too, because it will be real hard to do schoolwork with no computer. Also, tonight we need to make sure our renters insurance is up to date, since we have more stuff this year…couch, Macs, bikes, etc. We’ll get through, whatever happens, don’t worry about that.

I know we will be fine. And if we aren’t – then we are going to claim a shitload of stuff on insurance. I will contact USAA tonight about upping our coverage and I think we need to e-mail Lisa about the roof ASAP. The last thing we need is for the roof to come flying off. And yes, a car charger is necessary!!
Blaaaaaaaaaaaah. I hate hurricane season.
