First Day

I don’t look good in kahki’s and a hawiian shirt…that’s for damn sure.

But the experience wasn’t all unpleasant. There are some very interesting and enthusiastic people working at Maui Jack’s made for an enjoyable day. They all seem slighly over worked, hence the hiring. It was wierd coming home at 3, my workday being over. I felt like I had been bad, and sent home like a naughty child. But I worked on some reading for class and relaxed. It’s nice not being all rushed after work to make it to class. I am looking to pick up a shift or two this weekend in the hopes to stave off starvation. We are beyond broke, the party tapping us completly out, and small miscalculations on the checkbook didn’t help at all. Even five dollars would help out at this point. Otherwise we are going to be eating at Rollins on my R-card. (don’t laugh, it works in a pinch!)
David is looking for a job. If anyone knows of any artist positions in the Orlando area, please let us know. It’s getting ugly at his current position.
Time to work on my story….
