The madness of King George Do you know who he was? If you do, do you know why he was mad? This article sheds some light on his lunacy.

Drunken pilots get jail Wow….they say drinking and driving is bad. But drinking and flying?? If you are going play with people’s lives like that – you deserve what you get.

The oddities in Orlando are subject of articles across the country, including those in Seattle. It is a heartwarming little blurb about a woman that live on Orlando International Airport’s property.

It’s a secret. No it’s not….its’ uhm… Even if her name was not revealed maliciously, it was a huge misstep on the part of the current administration. Heads should roll regardless of intent.

O’Connor thinks we have reason to worry. So do I !

And this morning I’ve listened to:
The Supreme Beings of Leisure
Sasha
And Talvin Singh .

Bushie’s nomination to replace O’Connor spent a lot of time in Florida in 2000, advising those involved on how to steal an election and get away with it. Not much about that being said in the news. They keep painting him as a moderate, not as someone who put considerable amounts of money and time into the Bush campaign. I feel a certain amount of sad resignation at the direction the American people have allowed themselves to be led. Before you know it there will be an all conservative congress, all conservative court, and a conservative executive branch. I don’t really think most people realize the repercussions of one party rule.

He’s also spent a fair ammount of time trying to get Roe v Wade overturned. Frightening to think of where we will go next.

I heard about his involvement with the Florida debacle on NPR. It seems that they are the only news outfit that sees fit to report these kinds of things. ….

Problem is, he’s the best nominee we’re going to get out of Bush. He’s not going to be challenged seriously. I’m doing a bunch of letter writing for NOW and PP as well as some other grassroot campaigns but it’s mostly for show and they know that.

I watched the West Wing last night which always puts me in a very political motivated move.

I realize that we are not going to get an uber liberal on the bench with the Bushmonster in office. I just have a slight issue with his direct objections to abortion rights. Bush keeps screaming that the Justices shouldn’t legislate from the Bench, but he is looking to place someone on that same Bench with those urges. I will be interested (and disheartened) to see how my pet causes fare..
