Liberal, lunatic lassie, with mood swings and foot-in-mouth syndrome
The afternoon rain nourishes my butterfly plants, and the boys are snoring softly….
Mom ran off to explore the wilds of Colonial, on the hunt for bargains for the B&B. So I am here, alone, listening to the sounds of nature’s dance upon the roof. My yard will be grateful for the generous soaking. So will the damn weeds.
Mom was here when I got out of class last night. Man, she’s awsome. We hung out and had a few glasses of wine and talked till late. This morning, after being bombarded with beagle smooches, she and I had breakfast at Pauly’s Diner (yummy place). She is now off exploring. I’m working on my paper that is due today. And tonight I am going to the library =).
I miss my family sometimes. It’s nice to have Mom here.
