Beagle Poop

My boys, they are not the outdoors type. They are more the “laying on the couch till Mommy feeds them carrots and then crawls back into the fluffy bed for another 3 hour nap” type.

So they don’t seem to like to get their paws wet. I have known this for ages about Puck. Pip seems to be picking up the trait, and both took a whopping shit in my living room as I sat on the computer. They are both pouting now, because we all had a “talk.” I need to get more long incesnse so the house doesn’t gett too stinky.

The nice thing about hardwood floors is that it cleans up pretty easily.

The last final is today - Humanities. Julie and I studied last night. I couldn’t sleep when I got home, so I read Charles DeLint’s Trader. It’s not a hard read, espically as fantasy goes. And although he seems to be getting a little formulaic with his writing, he is still my favorite author. He writes about things I still think are possible. A spirit world just a sidelong glance away. People who are more animal and human (like a trickster crow girl). There are some people I meet who seem to be born from the worlds that DeLint writes about, and sometimes, I think I have lived in his pages, in worlds that exist, if only in my imagination.

I highly recommend a training crate. Our dauchshund is totally housetrained because of the training crate we got her.. minus a few early morning accidents.
