Afternoon Coffee

It’s nice to drink iced coffee in the afternoon, but I need a lot more than caffiene to keep me going right now.

The 6:30 meeting this morning, while interesting, was a touch early for me. I left the house before the sun, and arrived just as the sky streaked red. So I was dragging ass all day. It didn’t help that I stayed up later than I intended to watch the last episode of Star Trek. Oh well.

So I napped for a bit when I got home. Julie called twice. The second time I woke. She wanted coffee, and while the prospect sounded interesting, I found myself needing food more. We (that being David and I) took her to my favorite Mexican place, and then shot down to the local Barnie’s for some java. Cat joined us later. I love conversing with those two. I am going to miss Cat dearly when she leaves.

So what are the plans for tonight? If I were more motivated I would clean. Alas, I’m tired so I will just torture myself with a little video game action, and then off to bed for me. More interesting thing will start next week, I hope, with school. In a few weeks Alexis gets married, so we are heading to Colorado. Beyond that I am spending my time watching Pip and Puck play. I have turned into a full time beagle-mommy. Pip is getting bigger every day. Puck loves having him here. It’s nice being me right now.
