I got a ticket. Yes, I was speeding. But it was for $255 dollars for going 27 in a 15 when school was in session. I would like to state for the record that I think it’s bullshit. I was coming around a corner, trying to get away from the asshole that was tailgating me, and boom! Ticket! So, yeah. That’s in addition to leaving my paper at work and being utterly stressed out for my presentation today I got to school and started crying. Nora gave me a hug. Julie consoled me. David calmed me down…..
So, the shite hit the fan. I got a huge ticket. It was my fault, but I am still quite pissed about it.
Good news - I can turn in my paper tomorrow and I got an A in my Portfolio Class.
So as with all things in life - you get the good and the bad. But I still hate Winter Park Cops. I think speed traps are crap. Get the bastards that run stop signs. The ones that run red lights….school wasn’t even out then. Fuckers.

There weren’t even kids OUT there! That’s what killed me! The stupid lights went on at 2:30. I was in that intersection right at 2:35. School doesn’t get out until 3. Now please tell me the logic in that!! Please!!!

I was going to take a picture of my driving record to send to you but I forgot that I cant post a photo on here. I can tell you that the file that the Orange and Seminole County DOT has on me is about an inch and a half thick. The very first ticket that I have ever recieved was 215$ for doing 94 in a 55… He (the cop) kept telling me that I was 6 miles away from going to jail. keep in mind I was 15 years old and did not even have a valid drivers license.
I thought this might make you feel a little better about your ticket.
well, I dont drive like that anymore, but I still have a lead foot, on occasion and some serious road rage to go along with it.
Yesterday is over… and papers are finished… you are nearly in the clear!
