Sometimes affirmations make the day easier. So today, I will list things I like:
*Tali’s girly-ness
*peanut butter
*pistachios
*the new guns I just got in Ratchet
*D and everything about him (actually love D and everything about him)
*my wallpaper – it’s a groundhog in the snow
*the future (it scares me as well)
*my winter break
*cold weather
*my woobie
*leaving the windows open when the weather cools
*water and iced tea
*that moment when you catch your cellphone as it falls out of your pocket
*Chrome bags
*when D and I dance in the kitchen
*the Moe-collective and his green brethren
*speedbumps (but only when I’m on my porch)
*long weekends
*when my friends come to visit
*the prospect of moving
*the perverse and twisted names D comes up for sexual acts
*our collective adolescent humor
There… I feel better now. I shall go home on time – get some work done at the casa, and then enjoy my evening and my run. Yes, I am running again today, and I can’t wait!
